Jesse Jarod JJ Wohl, age 4, went to be with Jesus, the Angels, and his Opa Ackermann on Sept. 11, 2010, in San Antonio, TX. JJ was born on Nov 2, 2005, in San Antonio, TX. He was a very happy little boy that loved life. He especially loved to run. JJs favorite past time was watching movies; he loved Woody in Toy Story. He loved his church, Emanuels Lutheran, Seguin, TX, where he was an active member in both the Sunday School Program and the church services. He was baptized there on, Feb. 26, 2006. JJ is survived by his mother, Steffanie Wohl, & father Jarod Wohl, both of Seguin; Grandparents, Charles & Beverly Jobe, Seguin; 1st Sgt Randy & Arlene Wolfe, Lawton, Ok; Great-Grand parents, Rose Ackermann, Schertz; Jesse Jobe, Las Vegas, NV; and Janie Castilla, Seguin. Extended family of Aunts & Uncles includes: Adrienne Quire & Mike, Buda; Charlie Jobe & Alicia, Stafford, VA; Jennifer Silva & Carlos, Live Oak; and Jeffery Wohl, San Antonio; 6 cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by Great-Grand father, Malford Ackermann, Schertz; Great-Grandmother, Freda Jobe Melton, Schertz and Great-Grandfather, Jesse Castilla, Seguin. Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 16 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home, FM 3009 in Schertz, TX. Services to Celebrate and remember our short time with JJ and to thank God for our little gift will be held at Emanuels Lutheran Church, Seguin, TX at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, Sept. 17 with interment to follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emanuels Lutheran Church (Sunday School Program), Seguin, TX, the charity of ones choice, or monetary donations to help defray burial costs.
