Jerry England

April 19, 1933 — March 3, 2011

Jerry Delano England went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2011 at the age of 77. He was born on April 19, 1933 in Marion, N.C. Mr. England was a resident of Bass Lake for 24 years. He was the pastor of Little Church in the Pines from July 1968 to June 1989, and was a member of the National Council of Community Churches. Mr. England was a licensed commercial pilot and instructor, and served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the time he spent with his grandchildren. Mr. England is survived by his wife of 56 years, June L. England of Clark Fork, ID; children, Jerry F. England of Clovis and his wife, Karyl, Jeffrey A. England of Kennesaw, GA and his wife, Melody, Jonathon E. England of Singapore, China and his wife, Jeani, James D. England of Fresno, Judith L. England of Cibolo, Texas, Michelle Hunter of Freso and her husband, Darryl and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Little Church in the Pines at 1:00 PM on May 30, 2011.
