Jeffrey Looff

Jeffrey Nelson Looff, passed away on August 30, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was born on August 19, 1949 to Elmer and Norma Lee Looff in Seguin, Texas.   Jeffrey lived his entire life in Marion, Texas and was owner of The Overlander Restaurant in Marion for over 20 years.  He also proudly served in the US Air Force Reserves from 1968-1974.  Jeffrey had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his Black Lab, Blackie.  He also loved antique cars and trucks, and watching classic movies.  Some of his favorite times were spent working on vehicles with his son, Jeff, and taking long weekend road trips.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Norma Lee Looff; and loving wife: Joan Looff.  He is survived by his son: Jeffrey Nelson Looff II and daughter-in-law, Hope Herrington; brother: Wayne Looff and wife Ellen, and their daughter Whitney (Charlie) McClean; sister: Lisa Carleton and husband David; nephews: Christian and Brett (Natasha) Carleton; as well as many other family members and friends.
