Jefferson Coleman Jr.

Jefferson "JD" D. Coleman Jr, born on May 27, 1918, passed away on June 26, 2015, at the age of 97. JD served in the US Army and worked as a Civilian Personnel Officer. He enjoyed playing in the Ukulele band, traveling with his wife and bowling with friends and family. JD is preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson D. Coleman SR, Ollie Leach Coleman; brother, Joe R. Coleman. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Clara S. Coleman of Schertz, TX; daughter, Jennifer J. Coleman of New Braunfels, TX; son, Jeffery M. Coleman with wife, Patricia G. of Schertz, TX. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Schertz Funeral Home at 1:00PM with the Funeral Service to begin at 2:00PM. Interment is to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
