Jeanette Busch

November 19, 1944 — November 30, 2020

Jeanette Marie Busch passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 76. Jeanette was born on
November 19, 1944 in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, to parents George and Nettie Shook.
She was a graduate of the University of North Texas and enjoyed a long career as a special
education teacher. Jeanette was married to Herbert Busch, Jr. for 35 years.
Jeanette loved to sew and read. She was an excellent cook. Jeanette and Herb enjoyed traveling
with their RV and seeing sights across the country. Their biggest trip took them from Schertz,
Texas, all the way to Alaska. One of Jeanette’s greatest joys in her recent years were their dogs,
Sadie and Bonnie.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Herb, and their children: Russell Ludlam and wife, Anita; Brant
Ludlam, and wife K.J.; Todd Ludlam; Cindy Vigil and husband, Rodney; Randy Busch and wife,
Jennifer. She adored her grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, Katie, Serenity, Tyler, Shelby, Evan,
Dylan, and Lauren, along with her great-grandchildren, Zoe and Gus. She is also survived by her
sister, Gail Reed, and her brother Lloyd Mitchell, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeanette and Herb received a lot of TLC over the past few years from Holly Kama and love her like
family.
The Memorial Service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00p.m
