Jeanette Brogdon

Jeanette "Jeannie" Brogdon, born January 12, 1943, passed away August 18, 2017 at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Brogdon; parents Melvin and Lena Baumann; and sister and brother in law Sudie and Pete Kaczmarek. Jeannie is survived by her children Jean (Kevin) Manning and John (Denise) Brogdon; siblings Jerry (Nina) Baumann, Jerome (Wilma) Baumann, and Janet (Fread) Cielencki, Sr.; grandchildren Kaleb Brogdon, Carson Manning, Jonathan (fiancé Carissa) Manning, and Megan (Wayne) Stacy; great grandchildren Bryden, Maverick, and Corbyn Manning. She was a lifetime member of Post 837 VFW Woman's Auxiliary and the Bexar and Germania Bowling Clubs, along with Hermann and Son's. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Country Care Manor, La Vernia and the dedicated and loving staff while Jeannie called them her family the past two years. The family would also like to thank the Nix ICU and Acuity Hospital Staff and Dr. Gary M Songco. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at the Schertz Funeral Home Stateroom from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 1, 2017, 3:00pm, at the Redeemer United Church of Christ, Zuehl, TX, with the interment to follow at the church cemetery.
