Jean Hemby

April 29, 1948 — April 17, 2019

Jean Elizabeth Hemby, born April 29, 1948, left this world on April 17, 2019 and has now started a new chapter of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved life and enjoyed caring for others.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Beulah Kimes; sister, Jane Dupree and neice, Dian Altman. She has left a long line of family, including her only son, James K. Hemby Jr. with wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Brittany Hemby, Brandon Hemby with wife Tessa, Bryan Hemby with wife Chelsea, Bradley Hemby with Rivver Booth, and Hunter Hemby; great-grandchildren, Hayden Hemby, Braxton Hemby, Taylor Hemby, Bryan Hemby Jr., and a new Hemby due in August; sisters, Carol Chriswell, Marylou Dryburgh and Patty Patrick with husband Michael; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many many life long friends.

Jean was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
