Jasmine Rios (Jazzy Wazzy) was born on April 14, 1998, in New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2015, in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 17. Jasmine Rios was a beautiful young lady who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed soccer, snacks, and showing her teeth through her selfies! She also enjoyed all types of music and loved to show us how to dance. Jasmine had a big heart and especially loved helping the homeless. She attended Tree of Life Church where she also volunteered. She was an awesome daughter and sister and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmie Santellan; grandfather (Tha-Tha), Ruben Gonzales; grandfather, Daniel Rios Sr.; and cousin, Josiah Sanchez. She is survived by her parents, Daniel Jr. and Neomi Rios; grandparents, Reynaldo Sanchez, John and Janie Boggs, and Rosemary Santellan; great grandmother, Mary Gonzales; siblings, Joseph Rios, Breanna Rios, Gabriela Rios, Daniel Rios III, Mikayla Gonzales, and Jacob Rios; and numerous cousins. The family will be having a viewing on Sunday, May 31, 2015, from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, at the Schertz Funeral Home located at 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas, 78154. A Church Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at 6:00 PM, at the Tree of Life Church, located at 5513 S. Interstate 35, New Braunfels, TX, Pastor Don Duncan officiating.
