Janice Johnson was born to Raymond & Edythe Dixon on May 5, 1937 in Boerne, Texas. Janice passed away on June 30, 2009, in Live Oak, Texas. Janice is survived by her loving husband Harold Johnson; sons, Mark Spenrath of Glen Rose, TX, Roger Spenrath of Three Rivers, TX, Gary Johnson of Taylor, TX, Larry Johnson of Dallas, TX, & Scott Johnson of Tampa, FL; daughters, Jana Carpenter of Glen Rose, TX, & Cheryl Atwood of Chantilly, VA; sisters, Louise Currier, & Nelda Harrison both of Seguin, TX; 9 grandchildren; Janice is also survived by numerous family members & friends . Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home, Schertz, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Schertz Funeral Home with Col. Edward K. Maney officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the American Cancer Society: P.O. Box 291048 San Antonio, TX 78229.
