James Trebotich
November 14, 1959 — July 21, 2012
After a long courageous battle with lung disease, Jimmy was chosen by God to join him in heaven on July 21, 2012. Jimmy was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Peter J. Trebotich and Rita Elizabeth Barry-Trebotich. James was one of 6 children and often referred to as baby of the boys since he was the 4th son born to Pete and Rita. Extremely proud of his Croation and Irish heritage he will always been known as the family story teller. Among many accomplishments, James received his diploma from the Blackstone Career Institute for Legal Assistant/Paralegal on the 25th day of January 2005. Jimmy spent much of his earlier years working offshore drilling. James loved being an Uncle, Great Uncle, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and helping those in his community. If asked Jimmy would say his greatest joy in life was watching his family grow with the birth of each new generation. James is survived by his brothers, Johnny and Joey, his sister Lorena, brother-in-law Phil, sister-in-law Sandy, nephews Trevor, Timmy and Temple, nieces Nicole, Teressa, April, Ashley and Amy, great nephew Trevor Jr., great nieces, Kaylee, Taylor, Audrey and Chloe. James was predeceased by his parents, brother Tommy and sister Patricia. Jimmy will be greatly missed and forever remembered for his courage and love of family. Services in honor of James will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 beginning at 10:30am. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 16075 N. Evans Road Selma, Texas 78154 210-651-6913
