James Tofel

February 24, 1950 — April 2, 2015

James B. Tofel, born on February 24, 1950 in Schullenburg, TX, passed away on April 2, 2015 in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 65. During his time, he proudly served in the United States Army. James is preceded in death by his parents, Benedict and Rosaline Tofel; and sister, Rosemary Klein. He is survived by his daughter Destiny Tofel; and his siblings, Victor Tofel, Kenneth Tofel, and Barbara Dickson, also numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 9:30am at the Country Church in Marion, Texas. The interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
