James Pasley

June 16, 1936 — September 7, 2011

James Benno Pasley died on September 7, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on June 16, 1936 to James and Lucy Pasley. He was preceded in death by his lifetime sweetheart, Carol Raeona Weiser who he married in 1953. They had five children Sharon Weiser, Mike (Debbie) Pasley, James (Deena) Pasley, John Pasley (deceased), and Amanda (Danny) Alandzes. He is survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Early in his work life Jim worked at MFA but he was self-employed most of his life, working as a logger and in construction. He had a passion for golf, spending many days on the links. He also had his pilot license and a talent for painting. Jim will be most remembered for his love for his family, dedication to his wife, and his contagious laughter. Jim and Raeona lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Nevada, and Texas. Memorial services will be held on September 9 at 10:00 AM at Schertz Funeral Home, Schertz, Texas. He will be cremated. Internment will be at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, Oklahoma.
