Schertz,
James "Jim" Liscomb, born on December 11, 1946, passed away on November 9, 2017 at the age of 70. Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was awarded the Bronze star for his bravery as an Air Attaché throughout his three tours in Laos during the Vietnam War. Following his military retirement, he spent his days for the next 20 years as a computer specialist in Civil Service and the Private Sector but always looked forward to being home with his family and walking his dogs. Jim was a masterful craftsman, designing and building custom furniture and even a swimming pool for his home, all along passing his knowledge to his children. When he wasn't dreaming up new home projects, Jim enjoyed summer camping trips to the mountains with his wife and kids. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Arleen Liscomb; children, Thomas Liscomb, Jennifer Liscomb, Bruce Liscomb and Tammlyn Liscomb; four grandchildren; brother, Dave Liscomb; sister, Marian Gardner. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors.
