James Hungerford

James Clinton Hungerford, (Clint), born December 15, 1946 in Alliance, Nebraska to Jim and Dardanell Hungerford was brought home to Glory on October 2, 2010. Clint is survived by his best friend, wife, and soul mate of 44 years, Brenda and their five daughters, Tiffiney Mulieri, Mindy & husband Matthew Moring, Torey & husband Lance Amici, Kelsy Hungerford, and Hilory and husband Benjamin Parker. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, and his dear mother-in-law, Lorella Moomey. Clint was preceded in death by his parents and he and Brendas first daughter, Kelly Elizabeth. Clint was born and raised in Northwestern Nebraska, graduated from Chadron High School in 1965, and Chadron State College in 1969. Clint and Brenda lived in San Antonio for the last 27 years. He was an active member of Victory Assembly of God in Universal City, TX and was known for his kindness, strength of spirit and devotion to God. Clint worked as a civilian for the US Government for 43 years before retiring in August of 2009. A memorial celebration service was held in San Antonio on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at Victory Assembly of God Church. A memorial celebration will also be held in Alliance, NE on October 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home.
