James Jamie Edward Huffman, age 56 of Marion, TX, passed away on July 12, 2010. He was born on December 22, 1953 to his parents, James P. and Jacquelene E. Huffman, who he is preceded in death by. James is survived by his wife, Julie A. Huffman of Comstock Park, MI; brother, Dan M. Huffman of Marion, TX. children, James P. Huffman of Binghamton, NY, Brandy E. Schmick of Carlisle, PA and Conner Huffman of Binghamton, NY, Candace Van Oeffelen and Steven and wife, Megan Van Oeffelen; grandchildren, Carlie, Abigail, Maxwell and Phoebe Huffman of Binghamton, NY, Layton and Delaney Schmick of Carlisle, PA and Jaden Taber of MI. James was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He worked as the Senior Field Services Rep. for Megtec Systems in De Pere, WI. James was also an avid Harley rider. He enjoyed hunting, and spending time with his loved ones. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM with Pastor Floyd Osbourne of Marion Baptist Church as the officiant) on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home in Sparta, Michigan. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home. Interment will occur at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Alpine Township Cemetery in Comstock Park, Michigan.
