James Chinelo

November 4, 1978 — September 15, 2016

James "Jami" Mychal Chinelo returned to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15 th , 2016. He was born to James David and Barbara Ann Chinelo in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 4, 1978. James, or Jami as his mother fondly called him (much to his dismay), was a bundle of joy and a true gift from GOD to his mother and father. He was given the label of a "high- spirited" youth that was full of energy and life by his uncle Marvin. His megawatt smile and surround sound laugh always lit up the room. He could instantly shine a light of joy into the lives of his family, friends, and anyone that had the privilege of meeting him.

When James was a young boy, the family moved around often due to his father's various military assignments within the United States Navy. This afforded him the opportunity in his adolescent years to experience the many facts of life in this great Country. He enjoyed living in Hawaii, California, and the State of Washington, where the family eventually settled in 1985. His family and life experiences influenced him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

James attended Federal Way High School and graduated in 1996. His family's military lineage influenced his life path tremendously - the Military was in his blood and he developed a strong desire to serve his Country. After High School graduation, he enrolled at Central Washington University on a U.S. Army ROTC scholarship. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army in 2004. He continued his education and earned his Master's Degree in Human Resources. He is a member of the San Antonio Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc.

James met the love of his life, Tasha Shanee Hayes in Federal Way Washington. They traveled and experienced new things together. James' love for fast cars and long drives resulted many cherished memories. After three years of dating, they married on July 27 th , 2013. A short time thereafter, GOD blessed them with a beautiful baby girl Stacia Renee Chinelo, born on March 26 th , 2014. He was a devoted father who couldn't get enough of his daughter. He proudly took credit for all the praise Stacia received. James loved Tasha and Stacia beyond words. They were his heart, his soul, and his entire life.

James leaves behind his wife, Tasha Chinelo; daughter, Stacia Chinelo; mother, Barbara Chinelo; father, James D. Chinelo; and a host of family and friends.

James, you will always be remembered and will live in our hearts for as long as we live. We love you so much.
