James Jim Bradshaw Obituary 1941 - 2009 James Jim Bradshaw, 68, of Marion, TX passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at his home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, TX. Schertz Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements James Jim Bradshaw was born April 7, 1941 to Roscoe and Lela (Newell) Bradshaw in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1961. He married Juanita Post on October 25, 1964 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Previously Jim and his family worked and lived in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Roswell, New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona, and Victoria, Texas. He retired after 18 years of service with McLane. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Juanita Bradshaw of Marion, TX, his dog Molly, two sons: Wayland Bradshaw and wife, Melanie; J. W. John Bradshaw and wife, Theresa both of Marion, TX; two daughters: Dalena Gonzalez and husband, Albert; Catrena Swank and husband, Shawn both of Victoria, TX; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; four brothers; three sisters; several nieces and nephews. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his family.
