James Anderson

July 14, 1926 — December 16, 2010

James I Anderson, born July 14, 1926 in Mount Sharp, TX. He was a long time resident of the San Antonio area and lived in Seguin for the past two years. He died peacefully at the age of 84 on December 16, 2010. James served in the Navy and Air Force in the Korean War and WWII, also with the Department of Public Safety for over 25 years. He was also a member of Randolph Lodge for over 50 years and Alzafar Shriners for over 40 years, a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars post 8315, Schertz, TX. James was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, having been married over 54 years and is survived by his sons, Doug, Paul and Jim, three daughters-in-law, 8 grandchildren and several Masonic brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital in Galveston thru the Alzafar Shrine Center. Visitation will be held on December 20, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with funeral services to be held on December 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be held immediately following at the VFW Post 8315 in Schertz.
