Jacqueline Ann (Crall) Schuch, 55, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. She was born in Albia, Iowa on January 24, 1956, the daughter of John (Jack) and Irene Crall. Jackie grew up on a small farm in southern Iowa and attended St. Mary's Church in Weller and Melrose Elementary School. She graduated from Albia, High School in 1974 and attended William Penn College. She moved to San Antonio in 1983 and worked for many years as a substitute school teacher and later as a supported employment job coach for the SCUC school district. She also worked part-time at the Schertz Funeral Home and at a local Wendy's. Jackie enjoyed crocheting, music, spending time with family and friends in Texas and Iowa, being a grandma and helping others. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where she taught CCD classes. She is survived by her daughters, Kasey and Kelly; husband, Richard and grandson Keaton, all from the San Antonio area; a sister, Mary Kay Murphy (and husband Dean) of Albia, Iowa; two brothers; Jim (and wife Judy) of Los Angeles, California and Mark of DeSoto, Kansas and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, Texas, with Monsignor Roger Robbins officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Weller, Iowa. --A Favorite Prayer-- I met God in the morning When my day was at its best And His presence came like sunrise Like a glory in my breast. All day long His presence lingered All day long He stayed with me And we sailed along together Over a very troubled sea. So I think I know the secret Learned from many a troubled way You must seek God in the morning If you want Him through the day.
