Jacqueline Curtis Jacqueline Curtis, of Schertz, Texas, was born on October 9, 1942 in Pasadena, Texas and passed away on July 12, 2008 in Live Oak, Texas at the age of 65. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Jack & Janie (Jordan) Curtis. She is survived by her brother, James Curtis & wife, Elizabeth of Schertz, Texas; cousin (sister), Linda Lamb of League City, Texas; numerous other cousins; friend & fellow teachers, Karen King and the CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. Jackie spent most of her childhood in Venezuela. First grade until eighth grade summers were spent with family in Texas. Jackie then went on to teach at Harmony Hills Elementary School for 35 years. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services & Interment will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Jordan Family Cemetery in Batson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, First Baptist Church of Schertz or Gideons Bible.
