MSGT Jack P. Warren Jr. USAF (Ret) passed away unexpectedly at home January 24, 2019. He was born February 7, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents Velma and Jack P. Warren, Sr. He married Cynthia Branyan Warren March 22, 1975. Jack is survived by his wife Cynthia; sons James P Warren (Christi) of San Antonio, Jason L Warren, Sr (Selena) of San Antonio, and grandchildren Jason L. Jr. and Tori. He is also survived by his siblings Mary Warren of Forest MS, Gail Garduno (Mike) of Forest MS, Carolyn Perren (Denny) of Villa Rica GA, and Bill Warren (Kitty) of Mobile AL.

Jack graduated Warner Robins High School in Georgia in 1972 and immediately joined the Air Force. He worked in the Security Police field. He was stationed at Columbus AFB, MS (74-77), RAF Lakenheath England (77-81), Randolph AFB (81-85), remote assignment to Belgium (86), Randolph AFB (87-93) where he retired January 1 1993. After retiring from the Air Force, he pursued a Bachelors of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University and graduated August 1998.

He began his Santa career in 2003 for friends and family. Over the years it grew to a year round passion with continuing education and promotions. He worked with Lifetouch Portrait Studios in San Antonio and Austin as well as Sea World and Santa Express in San Antonio, Austin and the Valley. Jack donated Santa time to Battle 4 A Cure for 6 years. He could be found handing out "I got caught being good" coins to children all year long. He felt that Christmas was not just for toys and always said to "Celebrate the reason for the Season" and "keep the faith in your heart all year long". This was Santa Jack.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday February 6, 2019 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside service will take place Thursday February 7, 2019 at 10:00am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.

I lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to The Battle For a Cure Foundation.
