Irene Schmidt-Loflin

December 1, 1910 — March 26, 2009

Irene Schmidt-Loflin went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2009, at the age of 98. She was born on December 1, 1910 to Joseph & Frances Korzekwa in Falls City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Stanley D. Smith, Ted Schmidt and Ray Loflin. She is survived by her daughter Alice Joyce Carroll & husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Beth & Gary Gregory, Susie & Jim Pilmaier, Cathy & Glenn Conger, David & Cindy Carroll, Steven & Fawn Carroll and Kenny Adams. Also many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She loved to dance and will be greatly missed. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Odyssey House Hospice Center on Blanco Road for their excellent care of our beloved grandmother. A Memorial Service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
