Irene Hall

Irene Hall, born on June 5, 1928, in Water Gap, Kentucky, passed away on January 7, 2016. Irene was a teacher who taught both elementary and middle school and adult bible study class for 20 years. She returned to college later in life to achieve her Master's Degree in education. Irene was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hall; brothers, Chester L. Johnson and Robert E. Johnson; sisters, Veda Y. Young and Sandra L. Parker. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Booker, of Cibolo, Texas; son, Charles Hall, of Hong Kong; and grandson, Adam Booker. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any memorial donation be made to Schertz First Baptist Church or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
