Irene Farmer

Irene M Farmer, passed away on February 22, 2019 in Schertz, Texas at the age of 92. She was born to Steven Margly and Kathrine Horvath on September 7, 1926.

Irene was an Air Force veteran, devoted military wife, loving mother, and an even more amazing grandmother and great-grandmother. She always doted on her family and made no secret of how much she loved everyone one of them. Irene brightened the lives of those that knew her and will be missed by all that loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Steven Margly and Kathrine Horvath, husband Leland Farmer, sister Violet Margly, and children Mary Searcy and Bruce Farmer. She is survived by her son William Farmer, son-in-law Mike Searcy, 4 grandchildren; Jeff Searcy, Amanda Searcy, Michael Sparkman and Chris Farmer, and 5 great-grandchildren; Zach Farmer, Landon Searcy, Sydney Searcy, Trinity Sparkman, and Jacob Sparkman.

A service mass will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
