Iola King

June 17, 1919 — December 12, 2009

Mrs. Iola King, age 90, entered into rest on December 12, 2009, to be with the Lord and her loving husband Roy James King who preceded her in death in 1985. She retired as a civilian at Kelly Air Force Base where she was a supervisor of Base Procurement. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Tuttle & husband, Bob, Sandy Farrow, Cathy Nixon & husband, Bill, her grandchildren Justin and Corby Baxter, Cary IV and Kenton Farrow, Kelley and Casey Nixon, Ben and Aisha Snellgrove. Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2009, at Rutledge Cemetery, Poteet, Texas the following day. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
