Ileana M. DeLong, age 78, passed away on March 7, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Ecuador on February 12, 1938 to Manuel and Carmen Buendia. Ileana was a very faithful servant of God. She will always be remembered as a devoted and loving mother. Ileana was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Thomas McKeon DeLong. She is survived by her son: Thomas DeLong and wife, Pamela; daughter: Carmen DeLong; grandchildren: Paige DeLong, Trent DeLong and Christina DeLong; great-grandchild: Landon DeLong; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other loving family members. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30PM on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Schertz Funeral Home.
