Hwa Cha Brown of Cibolo, Texas passed away May 9, 2008 at the age of 63 years young. She was born May 3, 1945 in Jumunjin, South Korea. On July 5, 1967 Hwa Cha married Ernest Brown Jr. and together, they would embark on a life filled with joy, love, and fulfillment. Hwa Cha lived in many countries such as Italy, Philippines, England, and Japan with her husband who served in the US Air Force for 24 years. Through the course of their travels, Hwa Cha and Ernest had four children, Jerome of Dallas, Tyrome of San Jose, Antony of Austin, and Pandora of San Antonio, who are their pride and joy. Hwa Cha had a zest for life and an eye for beauty, which she exemplified in everything she did. In addition to her many talents, she graduated from beauty college in 1977, and later owned and operated her own beauty salon and gift shop for 15 years in San Angelo, Texas. She had a love for the outdoors- gardening and landscaping, which highlighted her celebration of life and beauty. She had a great sense of humor and brought much laughter to everyone who knew her. She loved to sing and make beautiful crochet and pottery keepsakes that will forever be cherished. Hwa Cha was unselfishly nurturing, giving, and especially dedicated to the well being of her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend to all who were privileged to know and love her. Hwa Cha will be missed by her husband, Ernest Brown, of 41 years, three sons, Jerome, Tyrome, and Antony Brown; one daughter, Pandora Reece; two daughters in laws, one son in law, six sisters, one brother, eight wonderful grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. The Celebration of Life Service for Hwa Cha will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Schertz Funeral Home at 2217 FM 3009 Schertz, Texas.78154. Viewing will be on Tuesday 10AM " 9PM and Wednesday from 8AM-9PM. Hwa Cha will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston cemetery.
