Hilmar Frank Schneider, born on February 8, 1930, passed away on July 13, 2014, at the age of 84. Hilmar was a machinist by trade and worked many years for civil service at Kelly Air Force Base and Randolph Air Force Base. His parents, Albert and Thekla Schneider, and his brother, Roy Schneider, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shirley Ann Schneider; son, Harold Lee Schneider and his wife, Chantal; granddaughter, Lauryn Stout. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014, at 10:00AM, at Sunset Memorial Park, Pastor Joe Walts officiating.
