Herbert (Herb) Allen Schatteles, born on October 30, 1946 in Bronx, NY, passed away on November 15 2016 at the age of 70. Herb proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was part of the Mountain men, Boy Scouts and a Stewardship in dog shows. Herb is survived by his children, Robert, Jackie and Gina; grandchildren, Ambria, Amber, Stephen, Justin, Brianna; great - grandchildren, Jacob, Leah, Maddilyn; siblings, Arthur, Ellen, Richard, Gail. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Schertz Funeral Home at 6:30PM with Father Timothy Vellom officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations are made to the BlueBonnet Dog Club.
