Helen Mcneal

Helen McNeal was born July 2, 1941 to the late Charlie and Hazel Davidson of Del Valle, TX.

Helen accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Del Valle Baptist Church , Del Valle, TX. She attended Lamar Elementary School and graduated from Anderson High School in 1960. In 1971 she married Dave McNeal, they were married for 47 years. She worked for Randolph Base Exchange for over 25 years. Her greatest joy was family gatherings and spending time with her grandson and great granddaughter. Her favorite hobby was playing bingo.

She is preceded in death by: four brothers Allen, Alvin (Joe), Lee Aurtha, Mallie and one sister, Rose.

Left to cherish her memories are husband , Dave McNeal, Cibolo, TX: daughte r, Lisa Gail Reid, grandson; Thomas Allen Reid, great granddaughter; Keilani Marlee Reid all of San Antonio, TX; One brother James Harold Davidson and three sisters, Annie O. Chadwick of Del Valle, TX; Alice Faye Simmons(Jerome) of Austin, TX and Mae Lois Davidson (Mary) of Del Valle, TX. Host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5:00PM-9:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00AM at Resurrection Baptist Church with Pastor Ray D. Brown officiating. Interment will be on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 1:45PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
