Helen I. Ervin-Weber, born on December 31, 1922 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on October 16, 2011, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dyle and Lena Lucille Merritt, brother, J.D. Merritt and her husbands, Everett (Stub) Ervin and Francis Weber. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Powell and her husband Jim, of Pampa, TX and Caryl Ervin and Bob Urbanczyk of Cibolo, TX; sisters, LaDell Collins of Midlothian, TX., and Linda Morris of San Antonio, TX.; grandchildren, Corey Powell and his wife, Cindy of Temple, TX., Joseph Poff of Houston, TX., Ryan Poff and Mandy Lehman of Denham Springs, LA., Julie Saiz and her husband, Robert of Pampa, TX., Kelli Cupples of Cibolo, TX., Sara Flores and Brandon Flores of Schertz, TX.; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Samantha, Chance, Jordan, Payten, and Jayden. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Schertz Funeral Home, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, Chapter of Texas " 3429 Executive Center Drive #100, Austin, TX 78731, or the American Lung Association, 8150 Brookriver Drive S-102, Dallas, TX 75247.
