Heather Shields

November 10, 1966 — June 10, 2018

Heather Jane (Lusk) Shields, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at home in Converse, Texas. She was born in Big Spring, Texas, on November 10, 1966 to Charles D. Lusk and G. Eileen Lusk. Heather graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1985. After high school, Heather married and became the mother of her only child, Kiyano S. Oben. During her work career, she held a position with Civil Service at Randolph AFB. She was most recently married to Sean C. Shields of Converse and they had been married almost six years. Heather's loving nature touched all who met her. She is survived by her current husband, Sean C. Shields; her son, Kiyano S. Oben; her step sons, Sang Young and Sang Pil, mother, G. Eileen Lusk; sister, Melissa Hemond (Peter), brother-in-law, Vince (Anne) and nieces and nephews. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her father, Charles D. Lusk.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity. Her ashes will be interred at Fort Sam Houston. A Committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00AM, Pavilion #1.
