Heather Rowan

Heather Lynne Rowan AKA Elias Joshua Rowan, born on February 10, 1975, passed away on September 11, 2016 at the age of 41. Heather was an over the road truck driver, driving all across the country. She appreciated good music and playing the guitar in her free time. Heather was passionate about animal rescues; working endlessly to convert animal shelters into a no kill shelter, saving as many animals as she could. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Heather is survived by parents, William E. Rowan Sr. and Joann Rowan; brother, William E. Rowan Jr; partner, Allison L. Brown. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 2:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the following; San Antonio Pets Alive http://www.sanantoniopetsalive.org/donate and the Animal defense League http://adltexas.org/help-us/donate
