Hazel Richter
June 13, 1928 — July 10, 2014
Hazel L. Richter, aged 86, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2014. She was born in Wetmore, Texas on June 13, 1928. She was baptized on August 25, 1928, confirmed on May 9, 1943 and married to Marvin C. Richter on August 4, 1951, all in her beloved Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church of which she was a lifetime member. She was also a member of the Bracken and Solms Bowling Clubs. She was president and owner of Quality Bindery. She served on the board of the Wetmore Community Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. Richter; her parents Alfred and Hulda Krueger; her sister, Evelyn Krueger and a granddaughter, Banner Richter.She is survived by brother Ralph and his wife Gloria Krueger of Bulverde; son Kenneth and wife Rhonda of Kerrville, son Harold and wife Karen of Schertz, son Russell and wife Julie of Houston and son Vernon and wife Dana of Argyle.She is also survived by her grandchildren Valene and husband Will Rector, Kenneth Jr. and wife Ronda Richter, Justin Richter, Mary Frances Martin, Kelby Martin, Katherine Martin, Sarah Richter, Micah Richter, Slater Richter, and Cooper Richter. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday, July 13. A funeral service will be held at Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church on Monday, July 14 at 10:30am with internment following at Sunset Memorial Park.
