In Loving Memory of Harry Agapito Sagocio, September 22, 1923 " January 11, 2011 Harry Sagocio, passed away at the age of 87 on January 11, 2011 at his home in Cibolo, Texas. He was born in Illocos Norte, Philippines on September 22, 1923. He graduated from Wailua High School, Territory of Hawaii on June 6, 1943. He joined the United States Army and served his country honorably from 1946 to 1949. After his military service, he went on to work at Schofield Barracks as a heavy equipment mechanic and a powered support systems mechanic for 26 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Lazaro Sagocio and mother, Maria Sumaong. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Maxima Llamido, and their children, Amy Sagocio, Aida Dela Cruz, and Alan and his wife, Lorena Sagocio. He loved all of his nine beautiful grandchildren: Rachel Tiqui, Brandon Tiqui, Nolan Tiqui, the twins: Roseanne and Rianna Dela Cruz, Angela Pelfrey, Jonathan Sagocio, Xavier Sagocio, and Maleia Sagocio. He was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren: Coralyn and Chase Pelfrey and Keileana and Malia Jane Tiqui. He is survived by his younger sister, Rose and her husband, Anastacio Barcina, of Waimea, Hawaii; and younger brother, Lolito and his wife, Rose Sagocio, of Mililani, Hawaii. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home located at 2217 F.M. 3009; Schertz TX 78154 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7 pm. Mass will be held at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma, TX on January 19, 2011. Interment to follow at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery.
