Harry Durkin

Master Sergeant Harry M. Durkin, United States Army (Ret.) passed away at the age of 80 years old. He was born to Harry and Catherine Durkin in 1934 in Syracuse, New York. After High School he joined the United States Army, where he served for 27 honorable years, followed by 10 years of Civil Service. Throughout his life, he was a Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Scouter, and a Past Master of Oregon Military Lodge #223. He volunteered his time to many charitable organizations. "He was an honorable man, living an honorable life." He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Catherine Durkin; sisters, Theresa, Catherine, and Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife, Kriemhilde; sons, John, Martin, and Robert and wife Karen Ann; brother, James and wife, Rose; grandchildren, Aubrey, Holly, Clayton, Jamie; great-Grandchildren, Athena and Lauren and many nieces and nephews.
