Harry Brown

March 25, 1959 — April 18, 2012

Mr. Harry Layne Brown, 53, of Universal City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 19 2012. Harry was born to Cassius (C.J.) and Leola Brown on March 25, 1959. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leola Brown and father, Cassius (C.J.) Brown, sister Marla Jo Abrahamson and brother Jim Brown. Harry was a dedicated husband, stepfather, brother and son. He attended High School in Houston, Texas. He was a 12-year employee, as a welder, with Barry Manufacturing of San Antonio, Texas and was dearly loved by owners John and Celia Berry and co-workers Matt and Richard Berry. Harry loved life and loved to laugh. He is survived by his wife Kim, stepchildren Jennifer Anglin, Sarah Anglin, and Richard Vasquez and granddaughter Baylee Blankenship, a sister Kathy Billingsley, her husband Gary, brother Bill Brown and wife Darla, and brother-in-law Gary Abrahamson. He leaves behind nephews Steve and Travis Billingsley, Cody and Kristy Brown and numerous relatives in Wisconsin, and nieces, nephews, and friends in San Antonio. Memorial Services will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 7:00PM.
