Guadalupe Sanchez

Guadalupe Lopez Sanchez born on February 6, 1926 in Victoria, TX, passed away on March 15, 2013 in Schertz, TX at the age of 87. Mr. Sanchez was a career soldier, beginning his service in the Navy, then with the Army and finishing his career as a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corp. In addition, he served his country in three wars, WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam, while serving his country he was honored with the Bronze Star, Silver Star, a Purple Heart, and numerous good conduct medals. Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents; Pablo and Guadalupe Sanchez, son, Pablo R. Sanchez, and daughter Mary Alice R. Sanchez. He is survived by his wife Bertha R. Sanchez, son Gus Sanchez and his wife Dahlia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, 9:00am, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 10:00am on Tuesday with a funeral service to begin immediately after. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
