Guadalupe Guerrero

Guadalupe Guerrero passed away December 23, 2009, at the age of 69. Guadalupe was born in Nuevo Laredo on May 27, 1940 and was a veteran of the Korean War and worked for 33 years civil service as a Master Electrician. He is a longtime member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the community of Schertz. Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Maria Antonia, Schertz, Texas; his brother, Jose Guerrero, San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Francisca Arechiga, Laredo, Texas, Simona Montes and husband, Luis, Laredo, Texas; sons, Juan I. Guerrero and wife, Melissa, College Station, Texas; Carlos E. Guerrero and wife, Deana, Goose Creek, South Carolina; daughter, Celia M. Doyle and husband Timothy, Stokesdale, North Carolina; grandchildren, Tyler and Katelyn Guerrero, College Station, Texas; Joseph, Leah and Jon Doyle, Stokesdale, North Carolina; Gabriel and Marisol Guerrero, Goose Creek, South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Schertz Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Monday, January 4, 2010, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
