Graciela Gracie Ofelia Rivas (nee Avila), passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Rivas, Jr.; children, Martha Zylstra & husband, Jason of Pella, Iowa, Marisa Bautista & husband, Luis of Jacksonville, FL and Daniel Rivas III & wife, Misty of Port La Vaca, TX; grandchildren, Riley, Aurelia & Antonia Grace Zylstra, Matt, Noah, Reuben & Lovee Bautista and Daniel Jason & David John Rivas; sisters & brothers, Terri Johnsen & husband, David, Maria Beln Beteta & husband, Simon, Birdie Johnson & husband, Dick, Andrew Avila & wife, Dmaris, Carmen Benbow & husband, Randy, Johnny Avila & wife, Shirley and Marcy Todd and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Bethesda Temple, 2210 Basse Road, San Antonio, TX 78213-4503. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Bethesda Temple Youth Department.
