Grace Stehle

Grace Marie (Mueller) Stehle, 80, passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2019.  Grace was a member of Bracken United Methodist Church in Bracken, Texas.  She loved spending time with her loving husband, her children and grandchildren and never turned down a bowl of ice cream.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets, traveling to Louisiana, going to Port Aransas and Rockport and going to the Lake House.  Grace was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl (Sassman) Mueller, her brother-in-law, Bill Stehle and sister-in-law, Dottie McFalls.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wilford; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Gayla Stehle; her daughter and son-in-law Brenda and John Smith, three grandsons:  Bradley Stehle and wife Megan, Matt Townsend and wife Sara and Josh Flores, and four great-grandsons --- and a another little one on the way, brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Lorraine Mueller, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stanley and Susan Stehle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alan and Alice Stehle; sister-in-law, Jane Stehle and brother-in-law, Jim McFalls, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, an aunt and many good friends.  The family would like to extend special thanks to the loving staff of Cima Hospice in New Braunfels for Grace’s excellent care.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made in Grace’s name to Cima Hospice, 300 Landa St, New Braunfels, Tx 78130 or Bracken United Methodist Church, 20377 FM 2252, San Antonio, Tx 78266.  Visitation will be held on Friday October 11, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home from 5 to 9 pm.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home  at 10 am.  Interment will follow at Bracken Community Cemetery.
