Glenda Brandt, age 60 of Converse, TX, passed away on June 8, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Brandt; children, Torrie (Ryan) McLaughlin and Jennifer (Christopher) Pritchard; sisters, Bev, Linda, Bonnie, Brenda and Sharon; brother, Charles and grandchildren, Sidney Ryan McLaughlin and Baby Boy Pritchard; in-laws, Elmer & Wanda Brandt; and a host of other relatives and friends. Glenda worked as a Dental Assistant and worked for Civil Service for 25 years. She loved to cook large amounts of food for family and friends. She loved to shop and spend time playing with her grandchildren. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday,June 12,2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure at www.Komen.org. A Poem Rodney wrote when he and Glenda first met and modified as a reflection of their life together. From the time we met at Allen to now I would look down at your feet as we would walk to the clinic, my thoughts are as vivid and clear, oh how sweet. Oh how we were at Lawton, how things were so good, but to only know where fortune would go. As I sit here gazing through my memories reflecting on the times we had, the family we made, the lovings friends we have, you and I were meant to be! Your loving husband
