Gladys Perra

Gladys Marion Perra, born on January 7, 1926, passed away on October 30, 2019 at the age of 93. She grew up in Peru, Illinois, where she helped her Father around the family farm and took the skills she learned and applied them to her everyday life. In her later years Gladys enjoyed tending to her garden and volunteering at the Animal Humane Society. She also stayed active in the bowling community and was an avid bingo player. Gladys was a long-time member of St. Paul Evangelical Church in Cibolo, TX and was cherished by those who lived in her neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Perra who passed away in 2002; daughter, Karen Lynn Perra. She is survived by her friends and neighbors, Nick and Colette Elizondo.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30PM.
