Gladys Mueller

Gladys Lorraine Mueller, born on December 6, 1928, passed away on March 4, 2018 at the age of 89. Gladys was a Teacher for over 12 years, working at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and in the SCUCISD. She is a longtime member of the Bracken United Methodist Church along with the Shawl Ministry, United Methodist Women and the Samuel Clemens Band Booster. Gladys enjoyed crocheting, knitting for friends and family and traveling. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elgin A. Mueller; sister, Helen Waxler. Gladys is survived by her sons, Gary Mueller and wife Cora, Glenn Mueller and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Jorie Mueller and fiancé Clayton Pawelek,Todd Mueller, Elton Mueller, Tasha Mueller, Ryan Mueller, Robby Mueller, Emily Mueller; great-grandchildren, Clayton Mueller, Caleb Mueller , Mallory Mueller and Hailey Mueller; sister, Bernice Knight. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5:00PM-9:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Bracken United Methodist Church with interment to follow at the Bracken Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Elton Mueller, Robby Mueller, Ryan Mueller, Todd Mueller, Jorie Mueller, Richard Mejia and Andre Dempsey. Honorary Pallbearers are Clayton Mueller, Caleb Mueller, Mallory Mueller and Hailey Mueller. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Kidney Foundation or the Bracken United Methodist Memorial.
