Gilbert Herrera

July 12, 1969 — December 29, 2008

Gilbert Herrera, age 39 of Cibolo, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008. Gilbert served as a firefighter and paramedic with Universal City Fire Department for 9 years, medically retired. Gilbert also volunteered with the Selma fire department under Chief Lee Gilbert also worked for Susan Beck at Metro Ambulance for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Leslee Herrera, and children Gavin and Victoria Herrera, of Cibolo; parents, Eusebio and Jean Herrera of Live Oak; sisters, Ana Villareal of Lytle Texas, Annie " Marie Perez of Converse Texas, Michelle Juarez of Schertz Texas, Tina Hancock of Kirby Texas, and Nicole Brooks of Seguin Texas. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM, January 2, 2009 at First Baptist Church Universal City with Reverend John Payne and Reverend David Lindow officiating.
