Gertrude Lonsberry

March 12, 1932 — February 3, 2018

Gertrude "Trudy" Lonsberry, born on March 12, 1932, passed away on February 3, 2018 at the age of 85. Trudy was a faithful member of the Schertz United Methodist Church and volunteered at RACAP. She was a people person and enjoyed the company of others, never meeting a stranger. Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth Lawrence; husband, Eldyn Lonsberry. She is survived by her children, Michael Lonsberry of Terrell, TX, Barbara A. Caraway of Cibolo, TX, Richard J. Lonsberry of San Antonio, TX, Stephen L. Lonsberry of Schertz, TX; Grandchildren, Jennifer Huff, Waylin Caraway, Jason Lonsberry, Chad Lonsberry, Lauren Dewald, Jessica Lonsberry, Christi Prochnow, Victoria Lonsberry, Suzanna Lonsberry, Erica Lonsberry and 16 great- grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Curran Officiating.
