Gerald "Jerry" E. Randecker was born on August 24, 1955 in Savannah, IL, and passed away on November 13, 2017 at the age of 62. Jerry lived a life full of family, friends, travel, adventure, music and laughter. Jerry was the co-owner and CEO of JSA Executive Search located in San Antonio, TX for the past 8 years. He previously served as the President of BOMAG America in Kewanee, IL, President of Spencer Fluid Power in Seattle, WA, President of CMI in Anchorage, AK and also spent over 21 years with John Deere. He held many challenging roles while with John Deere and concluded his legacy by leading their joint venture with Hitachi as the President of Hitachi Construction Machinery of America.

Jerry can be summed up in a few key facts:

  • Best brother his 6 sisters could have ever imagined and best singer of the bunch
  • A true servant leader and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone
  • Comedic relief in almost any situation
  • A dedicated husband, father, grandpa and teacher
  • Loved the Green Bay Packers, a glass of Jack and his dog (always named after a Packer legend)

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carol J. Randecker ( Messmer ); children, Brian E. Randecker and wife Shelley, Tracy L Muggia and husband Davide ; grandchildren, Sydney G. Randecker , Perry L Randecker , Grant E Randecker and Niccolo D. Muggia ; mother, Catherine Randecker ; sisters, Jean Cooper, Joan Hartman and husband Russ, Susan McMillin and husband Gary, Sharon Schultz, Linda Pauley and husband Allen and Karen McDearman and husband Jeff,.

He has been proceeded in death by his father Carlos Randecker .

A Memorial service will be held at 10: 00AM on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Schertz United Methodist Church in Schertz , TX.

An additional memorial service and internment will take place at a later time in Mt. Carroll, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations are made to Hope Hospice at 611 N Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130 and the Schertz United Methodist Church, Schertz , TX.
