George Livingston

Msgt. George F. Livingston U.S.A.F. Retired, age 68, of San Antonio, Texas, entered into rest January 31, 2009. He was born February 11, 1940 in Cokeburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Livingston had worked as a Security Police Specialist for the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 Years of service. Mr. Livingston was past commander of the D.A.V. Chapter #17 Universal City, lifetime member of the American Legion Post # 667, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4676 and the Paralyzed Veterans Association. He is survived by his wife, Georgiann Livingston of San Antonio; sons, George F. Livingston Jr. of San Antonio, Vince Livingston & wife, Stephanie of Burnett, Texas; daughters, Renee Hill & husband, Jack of Corpus Christi, Rochelle Livingston & husband David of Florida; brother Jim Livingston & wife Rachel of San Antonio; sisters, Joan Ewing & husband Larry, Sally Shepard of Florida, Alice Livingston of Pennsylvania, 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews and four legged companion, Miranda. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. & Margaret Livingston; and brother John W. Livingston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 starting at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Graveside services & interment will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
