George Holmes King, born on November 4, 1948, in San Antonio, TX, passed away on June, 11, 2012, in Live Oak, TX, at the age of 63. George is survived by his wife Barbara Jean King, Sons, Thomas King and wife Roxanne, George King, and James King; daughters, Missy King and Devonda, and Gina Showman and husband Eric, daughter in law Hallie; grandchildren Shane, Megan, Elizabeth, Tyler, Bryan, William, Charles; sisters Kathy Reeves and Laura King. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2012 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, with a celebration of life service to be conducted at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
