George P. Friesenhahn Jr., age 74 of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 4, 2010. Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Monday, February 8 from 5-9 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at 10 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, Texas. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. George was preceded in death by his parents, George Friesenhahn Sr. & Hedwig Kunz-Friesenhahn; Brother, Norbert Friesenhahn; Sister, Virginia Friesenhahn; Granddaughter, Kimberly Jacobsen. George is survived by his wife, Elenor Tschoepe-Friesenhahn of San Antonio; Son, Ken Friesenhahn & wife, Geri of Cibolo and their children Patrick, Tammy, and Randy Friesenhahn; Daughter, Darlene Jacobsen & husband, Rick of Marion and their children Christopher, Ashley, and Bradley Jacobsen, and Christina and Jon Basha; Daughter, Brenda Schwartz & husband, Fred of San Antonio and their children Trevor, Chelsea, Melanie, and Freddie Schwartz; Son, Stan Friesenhahn & wife, Yvonne of Marion and their children Cody and Tanner Friesenhahn; Son, Nick Friesenhahn & wife, Eloisa of Adkins and their children Amy and Allen Friesenhahn; Daughter, Virginia Friesenhahn & Eddie Clark of San Antonio and their children Juliann and Ayden Clark; Son, George Friesenhahn III & wife, Jeanne of Floresville and their children Ethan, Morgan, and Erin Friesenhahn; Daughter, Ellie Geyer & husband Steve of Corpus Christi and their children Samantha, Amber, and Noah Geyer; Sister, Florence Jasiak & husband, Len of Tucson, Arizona; Sister, Gladys Appelt & husband, Ferdy of Fort Worth; Brother, Norvin Friesenhahn & wife, Mary of San Antonio; Sister, Kathy Boughton of San Antonio; Brother-in-law, Erwin Tschoepe & wife, Gloria of New Braunfels; Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kortz & husband, Vincent of Cedar Creek; Sister-in-law, Roberta Koehler & husband, Burton of Marion; Brother-in-law, Vernon Tschoepe & wife, Debbie of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. After more than 40 years as a plumber, George retired as a Master Plumber with Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local Union 142.
